Product Region: Japan
  • Tsubame Sanjo Bread Knife
We estimated a balance between price and quality, and became the perfect bread slicer for the first one.
The blade is made of molybdenum vanadium steel made in Japan with a mirror finish, and the handle is made of natural wood morado, with a calm grain texture.
The main edge of the knife is the life of the knife, and the final finish is made with a wave-shaped giza blade made by Niigata Tsubame chef.
Blade length is 23.5cm, standard bread knife size. Easily cuts 1 jin of bread and wide French bread.
It can be used for all types of bread, from freshly baked soft bread to solid French bread. The smooth section of the cut opening is the quality of a professional tool in making knives.
It is a point of the smooth cross-section that allows the blade to be pulled back and forth using the jagged blade snag.
Weighs 3.6 oz (97 g), lighter than comparable products. Even though the blade is long, it focuses on good handling.
The design of the blade keeps your fingers from hitting the cutting board even if you cut the pan to the bottom.
The mirror finish of the blade is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also the effect of reducing friction with the ingredients and improving cutting.
The blade and handle are secured with 2 stainless steel studs, so it will not fall off.
The handle of the morado material does not have a rough feel, and the grip fits nicely in your hand. In this product, it is less expensive than using resin or reinforced wood, and has a role in preventing the rising of mischief prices.
This product was designed by Nagao in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, and manufactured by the same city's knife maker.

    About Molybdenum Vanadium Steel
Molybdenum vanadium steel is made of stainless steel cutlery with Molybdenum (Mo) which is less likely to be affected by temperature rise, and vanadium (V) which prevents it from becoming softer and stronger when tempering, making it highly resistant to wear and stickiness. It is highly resistant to rust and is not affected by temperature rise, so it is also used for surgical scalpels such as hospitals. Molybdenum vanadium steel has little impurities, and is characterized by a stainless steel knife with a blade that is good for holding the blade.

    About Morado Wood
This foliage of the Clius family is growing in South America and Bolivia. The core is made from chocolate to brown with tan stripes along the grain of the wood. The wood is heavy and difficult to process; but the wood texture has a delicate and beautiful finish. It is also resistant to fungal corrosion, and has excellent durability. It is also called the name of rosewood, but it is different from the rosewood.

    *NOTE*
    Not dishwasher safe.
